The veterinary market is flooded with Glucosamine supplements for dogs with arthritis and joint pain. In fact, at Carolina Value Pet Care, we have been offering a chewable Glucosamine Joint Supplement for the past few years.
However, we’re excited about a new product that we are now offering to our customers called MOVOFLEX. With a chicken liver flavor that dogs love, MOVOFLEX has been recently released for Dogs with joint pain that combines 5 unique ingredients not found in other joint supplements for pets. And when used regularly, the results have been extremely rewarding for the majority of dogs with arthritis and joint disease.
MOVOFLEX combines Biovaflex, Zanthin, Boswellia, Hylauronic Acid and Vitamin D3. Let’s look at these components individually:
- Biovaflex is derived from Egg Shell Membrane from chicken eggs, providing collagen and elastin
- Zanthin is a highly potent antioxidant
- Boswellia provides structural integrity of joints and connective tissues
- Hyaluronic Acid supports synovial fluid, the natural lubricate present in joints throughout the body
- Vitamin D3 is essential for healthy bone function.
For dogs with severe arthritis and / or joint pain, veterinarians have long used non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) similar to human products. Medications such as Rimadyl and Deramaxx and Carprofen and Galliprant may sound familiar to you. While extremely beneficial for countless dogs, they all come with risks of severe liver and kidney problems, so much so that frequent bloodwork is required in order to prescribe these medications.
If there is an advantage to these NSAIDs, they work well and work quickly. MOVOFLEX, on the other hand, is not a prescription product, and comes with virtually no side effects. But it doesn’t work “instantly” like the NSAIDs, so be sure to use it for at least a month or 2 to see the benefits of the chewable tablet for your arthritic or painful dog.
If you are already giving your dog one of the NSAIDs (Rimadyl, Deramaxx, Galliprant, Caarprofen), I encourage you to give the MOVOFLEX at the same time. You may be able to give LESS of the potentially-dangerous NSAIDs, which of course is better for your dog !
