There are a variety of part-time job positions
Chart In Take Rep: Discusses options and services with clients. Fills in client forms with services requested. Must be willing to learn about products and be able to advise and inform clients. As an In Take Rep, you will learn to look at pet records and mark the forms appropriately. In Take Reps need to be patient, friendly, personable and comfortable around all types of dogs and cats, willing to follow policies and procedures, and work as a team player. This position works closely with clients as well as their pets. Must be able to be on your feet for long periods.
Holders: Assist the client and doctor by lifting and lowering pets, restraining for vaccines, cleaning the exam table between clients, and other miscellaneous though very important duties. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Check out: Fills out paperwork for recording visit, totals invoices, dispenses and documents medication sold. Must be customer oriented, patient and calm, able to focus under pressure.
Greeter: Our Greeter is the first person from our team the client encounters. Must be Friendly and welcoming to all our clients and their pets. Greeters will hand out clipboards and forms to clients prior to seeing the DVM or RVT.
Starting pay: $9.50/hour (depending on experience)
NOTE: After submitting your application, you may be called to come in for a face to face interview at a clinic. After the face to face interview, potential employees will be asked to come in and shadow for 3 hours. Shadowing a current staff member is required to ensure that this is the job for you!
